Varsity Head Coach Jeramy Hathcock
Coach Jeremy Hathcock took the helm of the Desert Ridge High
School football program at the start of the 2006 season. He lead the 2006
Jaguars to their first play-off season ever his first year with the jags,
earning the East Valley Tribune's 5A "Coach of the Year." Football and scholar
athletes matter to Coach Hathcock. In 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2012 he led the team to the State
Quarter-Finals. In 2010, He led the Jags to the state finals which were played at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
He began his career coaching Freshman at Blue Ridge High School.
He became Head Coach at Show Low High School in 2002, leading the team to the
State Title in 2003 and had the only undefeated season in the school history. He
had a 27-8 record in three years with three play-off appearances. In 2003, he
was named 1A-3A "Coach of the Year" by the Arizona Republic. in 2004, he
received Arizona's Fellowship of Christian Athlete's award for "Coach of the
Year.' He was also Head Coach for the 2A-3A All-Star Game in 2004. In 2005, he
became the Offensive Coordinator at the Estrella Foothills before joining Desert
Ridge High School.
A graduate of Blue Ridge High School in Pinetop-Lakeside,
Arizona, in 1991, Hathcock attended Phoenix College and Rocky Moutain College in
Montana. He graduated from Ottawa University in Kansas.
During his high school career as a running back, his team won
three state titles in 1987,1989 and 1990. He was a two-time All-Arizona running
back. In his college career, he was an All-American running back at Rocky
Moutain College in 1994.
Jeremy married his high school sweetheart, Amy. The couple has
four children: Ryan, Alec, Kali and Koby. Jeremy and his family look forward to
another playoff season with the Jaguars.
